Contract Term: Approximately mid-October to December 31, 2026
We are looking for dependable, hands-on workers to join our team for a temporary project running from approximately mid-October through December 31, 2026.
The primary responsibility of this position will be assembling poultry cages. A supervisor will provide training, direction, and demonstrate how the cages are assembled. Once you understand the process, you will be expected to work independently, maintain a steady pace, and complete your work accurately.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assemble poultry cages according to instructions and specifications
Use basic hand tools to complete assembly work
Follow instructions and learn the required assembly process
Work independently once trained and comfortable with the task
Maintain a consistent and productive work pace
Check completed work to ensure cages are assembled correctly
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Work cooperatively with the supervisor and other team members
Assist with lifting, moving, and positioning materials as required
Requirements
Can follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly
Can work independently after receiving training and direction
Can maintain a good work pace throughout the day
Previous experience in assembly, construction, manufacturing, farming/agriculture, warehousing, installation, maintenance, general labour, or another hands-on environment would be an asset but is not required.
Pay: $21.50-$25.00 per hour
